The Nancy Oldfield Trust provides accessible boating and accommodation on the Norfolk Broads for people with disabilities or anyone who considers themselves disadvantaged. Visitors can enjoy a day on the Broads by motor cruiser, sailing boat, rafted canoe or pedal launch. We are the only facility in East Anglia offering such a broad range of water-based activities and run by a small staff team supported by around 80 volunteers.
Our motor cruiser trips run year-round, from January to December. Sailing and paddling are available from April to the end of October, with some trips also offered during cooler months, weather permitting. Choose a morning, afternoon or full-day session. The suggested donation for 2026 is £25 per visitor for a half-day, and essential carers attend free of charge.
If you would like to stay longer and explore the area, we offer two self-catering options: a fully accessible on-site bungalow for up to 10 people, and a South Norfolk cottage for up to 6 people with a specially adapted downstairs bedroom and bathroom.
