There is a perfect place to stay for everyone within the Broads National Park, whether you want a cosy lodge, luxurious hotel, cruiser boat or an affordable campsite.

Keeping it fresh and local
With Norfolk’s agricultural heart close by, it’s no surprise there’s a bountiful choice of fresh, locally sourced produce to hand.
The Broads covers parts of both Norfolk and Suffolk – you’ll find a landscape shaped by nature, heritage, and slow adventure. Drift along peaceful rivers, pause at quiet waterside viewpoints, stroll or cycle miles of traffic-free paths, and explore charming villages.
Come and breathe it all in… you won’t be disappointed.
Getting to the Broads National Park is surprisingly easy, making it perfect for a short escape into nature. From London, the Broads are just 2 to 3 hours away by road or rail, with direct train services to nearby hubs like Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

Tucked quietly away beyond the crowds of the popular Norfolk Broads lies a quieter, softer treasure: the Southern Broads, often known as the Suffolk Broads. Lesser known, yes, but no less breathtaking. Here the rivers feel more intimate, winding gently through wide skies, ancient marshes and sleepy waterside villages. Reed beds whisper in the breeze, dragonflies skim the surface, and the water reflects big, open horizons that seem to slow time itself. It is a place for unhurried boating, peaceful paddleboarding, wildlife watching and long, contemplative walks and gentle exploring.
Step into the Northern Broads, where big skies meet winding waterways and every turn promises a new adventure. From the lively buzz of Wroxham and the riverside charm of Horning to the hidden gems of Stalham and Potter Heigham, dive into boating, wildlife, great food and unforgettable days out on the water.

View eventThe Broads Authority is the organisation responsible for protecting and managing the Broads, caring for its unique landscapes, wildlife and waterways. Established in 1989, it has responsibilities similar to those of a National Park Authority, they also oversee navigation across the rivers and broads. While Visit the Broads helps visitors discover and enjoy the area, we work closely with the Broads Authority to promote this special landscape and support sustainable tourism, ensuring the Broads can be enjoyed by visitors and local communities for generations to come.
