The kids are off, the weather is perking up and you really don't want to be stuck indoors, so why not have a read of our picks of the great events taking place in the Broads this Easter? There's plenty going on!

Don’t miss the Easter family fun trail at the Museum of the Broads. Activities will include Easter themed prizes, vintage steamboat trips, and all sorts of crafts and activities. Even the Wherry Maud will be visiting on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday!

Painting the Broads in springtime

Be inspired by the Broads in springtime, paintbrush in-hand. Stay in a beautiful Broad-side Bed and Breakfast while enjoying daytrips out to some of the most scenic areas in the Broads National Park. Designed to develop your skills, increase your confidence, and for your pure enjoyment too! Each day includes demonstrations, tuition and critiques.

Go Wild at Easter Family Trail

There's guaranteed family fun to be had at the RSPB's ever-popular Easter trail around the the beautiful Discovery Zone at their Strumpshaw Fen reserve, nestled in the heart of the Broads. There will be lots of fun, hands-on activities that will help you discover our spring wildlife and a small prize for everyone who takes part.

Norfolk Festival of Nature

The Forum in Norwich will be hosting an evening and a day of all things nature on 13 and 14 April 2019.  The Norfolk Festival of Nature partnership brings many of the top Norfolk wildlife organisations together in the heart of the city, providing a day of activities, storytelling, workshops and talks.

Whitlingham Wednesday: Easter Discovery Treasure Trail

As part of National Parks Fortnight 2019, come down to Whitlingham Country Park and discover the beautiful landscape that is the 'Gateway to the Broads'. Complete the Easter adventure trail and take away a mini egg prize.

Where: Whitlingham Visitor Centre, Trowse

Broads Tours Easter Special Boat Trip

Join Broads Tours on one of their magical passenger trip boats for a special trip complete with nature quiz, knowledgeable skipper, colouring/drawing competition and a free Easter egg for everyone who takes part - an Easter event with a difference!

Come and enjoy an Easter trail around the gardens, follow the clues around the garden and answer the puzzle at the end to receive an Easter Egg prize, plus a mini Easter Egg hunt around the Spider Garden for the under 5’s.
