We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond The Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Visit the Broads website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Visit the Broads website.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Visit the Broads website and believe we've achieved the majority of requirements for Level AA accessibility. Areas we are still working on include:

  • Producing accessible PDF files
  • Ensuring all images have alt tags
  • Other general improvements

The site displays correctly in current web browsers. If you view our site on an older browser, you may find pages don't display as intended if the browser isn't standards-compliant. We recommend you upgrade your browser to the latest version of one of the following, to get the most from our site.
